Most of you know how the referral
system works, but here is a brief overview:
How You Get Referral Fees:
If your license is inactive, you do not have a Broker. If you do not
have a Broker, then you cannot be paid referral fees. If we hold
your license, we can pay you referral fees.
We work like the majority of
Real Estate companies: You, as one of our licensees, refer to us someone
who wants to buy or sell Real Estate. We, on your behalf, place that
referral with an agent / agency we think can best represent them. (Yes,
you can suggest an agent / agency.)
When the transaction is complete, we
will receive a pre-negotiated percentage of the transaction side. We
will then pay you your referral commission.
What Can You Expect for
Referral Fees:
How much you receive depends upon the commission set by the transaction
side Brokerage. Remember, Real Estate fees are negotiable and we do not
discuss commissions between other brokers or agents. The other
variables are the price of the property and the percentage of the
transaction we receive.
As an example only (insert
your own prices and commissions):
Say the referral is a listing and the commission is X on a $xxxxxxxx.xx
property, the split is 50/50, the property sells for list price and we
have negotiated a 30% referral. If it was a 50 / 50 split and we received 30% of
the transaction side, then you would get a check for 40% of what we
received for the transaction side. Who can join?
Any Georgia Real Estate Licensee can join: current, inactive, or new. (Click
